Mouhamadou B. Diagne's Bio:

 Mouhamadou B. Diagne joined Columbia University in June, 2015 as the Earl Hall Religious Life Fellow. In this capacity, Mouhamadou helps the university chaplain oversee Religious Life programing coming from the Office of the University Chaplain. He sits on the advisory board for the Kraft Family Fund for Interfaith and Cultural Awareness. This endowment is used to fund innovative, collaborative, and interactive programs that promote interreligious and cultural dialogue as well as foster a climate of mutual understanding and inclusion for students of diverse religious and cultural backgrounds. He also provides counseling to students of all faith traditions on any concerns affecting students' mental, emotional, and/or spiritual well-being on campus. Prior to holding this position at Columbia University, Mouhamadou completed his Master's in Divinity in Islam and African Religions at Harvard Divinity School. There, he worked closely with the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs for two years as a Student Programming Assistant for the Office of Student Life. Before that, he was pursuing a Bachelor's degree in psychology and educational studies at Carleton College. There, he worked for three years as a Chaplain's Associate, overseeing some of the religious student organizations and creating programs that foster interfaith dialogue and cross-cultural understanding.
